Albury City is the custodian of the community strategic plan for Albury - 'Albury 2030', but it is not a Council plan. Albury 2030 must be reviewed every four years and after extensive community and other stakeholder engagement during 2016, the draft Albury 2030 plan is now available for comment.
AlburyCity has endorsed for exhibition the draft Community Strategic Plan - Albury 2030.
From July to December 2016 AlburyCity worked with the community and other stakeholders through many different engagement opportunities to identify community priorities and aspirations for Albury. Over 1,000 submissions were received and these have been considered during the review and development the new draft community plan.
Albury 2030 is not a Council plan. Albury 2030 identifies many partner and other organisations to work together to help achieve the strategic goals. There are also ideas as to what the community can do to help reach the future aspirations.
The Council projects that will work towards achieving the Albury 2030 goals/outcomes are listed in AlburyCity's four-year Delivery Program.
Comments will be received until close of business Monday 10 April 2017 and should be addressed to Corporate Planner, PO Box 323 Albury NSW 2640 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Copies of the draft Albury 2030 community strategic plan are available for viewing at the AlburyCity Customer Service Centre, 553 Kiewa St, the LibraryMuseum and the Lavington Library or can be downloaded via the link provided below:
